About the Role
This is a leadership role, not a field role. You oversee the Refrigeration section of the service department. Your team will work on rack systems, walk in coolers & freezers, reach in units, and commercial ice machines. Additionally, self-contained and remote display cases, CO2 trans critical and secondary loop systems, case and rack controllers and monitoring platforms, as well as compressor failure analysis. Your role is to ensure the jobs are done correctly, profitably, and safely. You are the expert go to person for your team.
Requirements
What you need.
EPA Section 608 Universal certification
Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license
10 or more years in commercial refrigeration
5 + years managing a technician group
Demonstrated ownership of a department or branch P&L
Comfort running a department on a modern service platform (BuildOps)
